I was hoping I'd get some new spots put up sooner, but, alas. I've posted Red Ribbon Week and Operation Lights Out spots. Check 'em out. They were bigger projects for me, given my resources at work.

After both a small house fire andthe hard drives on my computer dying, I'm finally able to update the website again. "Blanco" has seen a few more festivals (and has one more on the way), and a poem should be out in Drunken Boat at some point. Storyboards and animatics are coming together nicely for a few new films, and I will have some new spots to share also.

I'm hoping to entirely redesign this site by the end of the year, so be on the look out for that also.

Cheers.

Updating the website has been a bit difficult lately, as I currently don't have an internet connection at home.

As you may have noticed from the homepage, the cover is ready for my first book, Catalogue of Burnt Text. I'm still not sure of the exact release date, but should be this year.

In film news, "Dear, Love" will be showing at the 2009 Portland Underground Film Festival (PUFF) this June.

Also in film news, "Tremble" is going to be showing at Squeaky Wheel's Global Super 8 Day Program on May 8th.

And, in PSA/Commercial news, I've finished two spots for the 2009 Shakespeare Festival. The campaign is a continuation of last year's and it's pretty fun. Check them out.

This week I produced a :30 spot for the Beat Coach Pete Fun Run. As usual, I wrote, directed, shot, edited, etc., the entire thing. All of the coaches were great sports, and the shoot was a lot of fun. Check out the spot on under the 2009 Commercials.

I also just got word that BlazeVOX Books is going to be publishing a book of my poems, Catalogue of Burnt Text. I'm not entirely sure when the book will come out, but I will keep everyone posted via here, facebook, etc. For more information on BlazeVOX, check out their website.

I recently produced a :30 spot for the Gene Harris Jazz Festival. Check it out on under the 2009 Commercials.

"Blanco" went up on Reel 13 today as part of their weekly competition. It'll be on the website for something like three years, but it will only be up for the Reel 13 short of the week until next Thursday, so vote!

It's been a busy week, and I'm sort of sad I wasn't able to announce this sooner, but nonetheless, I have big news. "Blanco" has picked up a distrubition deal by a company out of Toronto, Canada. I'm still in the process of figuring out the details as to what all of this might mean for the film, but at the least the film will show on Movieola - the short film channel, in Canada.

I just got word today that "Dear, Love" will be screening at "PEEPSHOW: A SECRET WORTH KEEPING," in conjunction with Squeaky Wheel, Buffalo's Media Arts Center, Buffalo, NY, February 21, 2009. I won't be able to make it on such short notice, but it's a nice beginning for the film.

I added a new page for the big animation project I'm starting to get going, "The Death of Johnny Forceps." Don't look for a finished product any time soon, but I may throw some sneak peaks up as things go along.

Also, Phil's doing some great work on "The Waves." I can't wait until it's finished and I can show it to you all.

1.4.09
Happy New Year everyone. I've added a few new links, as well as the DVD to "The Baseball." Be sure to theck them out.

Once the new March for Youth campaign starts airing I'll have lots of spots to post. Many of them are the most ambitious commercials I've attempted yet.

Lots of news today. First, I confirmed Phil Page as the animator for "The Waves." Check out his site here for a gist of what his work looks like.

And I just found out "Blanco" is making its big screen and International debut in Canada at the Victoria Film Festival.

I also added some links.
