Timothy David Orme was born. He grew up in Idaho--for the most part. He graduated with Honors from Boise State University with an English Degree with a Writing Emphasis in 2003, and then stayed at BSU until he received his master’s in 2005. While at Boise State Tim worked closely with many of the professors, but particularly the poets, and published poems in a variety of both print and online literary journals. In graduate school he published his first non-fiction essay, "Why I Love Gay Men.” Since completing graduate school, Tim has taken up independent and sometimes experimental filmmaking. His short films have appeared in festivals all over the world. When he is not making films, Tim makes commercials, drinks, and whatever else necessary to earn a living. His first book of poems, Catalogue of Burnt Text, is currently available through BlazeVOX Books. |
